Our Efforts to Enhance Stadium Atmosphere
We are dedicated to transforming the matchday experience at the London Stadium and building a stronger fan community. Here’s how we’re making it happen:
Fan-Funded Displays
Organising large-scale, fan-funded displays that celebrate West Ham’s history and spirit, adding colour and excitement to big matches.
Enhanced Community Engagement
Hosting pre-match meetups for fans to connect, share ideas, and build friendships. Additionally, our WhatsApp community keeps supporters engaged and informed.
Singing Section Initiative
Campaigning to establish a dedicated singing section where vocal fans can come together, creating a passionate atmosphere that echoes throughout the stadium.
Collaborative Club Discussions
Working closely with the club to explore and implement new ways to improve the matchday atmosphere and ensure that the fan voice is heard.
Future Plans
At Ironworks Alliance, we’re committed to making meaningful changes that enhance the matchday experience for all West Ham fans. Here’s what we’re working towards:
atmosphere Section
We’re campaigning to introduce a dedicated singing section in the stadium. This would be a space where vocal fans can come together and sing their hearts out for the full 90 minutes, without fear of judgment or discomfort. We believe that many fans want to be more vocal but feel restricted by their surroundings. By creating a larger, more unified section for singing, we aim to improve the chants and create a ripple effect that the rest of the stadium can join in on.
Fan Led Displays
We are actively collaborating with the club to lead and organise fan-funded pre-match displays, or tifos, on a large scale. We’ve received approval to spearhead our own display soon, showcasing the passion of West Ham United and our supporters. These displays are set to create a powerful, memorable atmosphere in the stadium.
Voice for the Fans
We’re here to represent the fans and ensure our voices are heard when it comes to improving the matchday atmosphere. We believe that the fan’s perspective is crucial, and we’re dedicated to advocating for changes that reflect what we, as supporters, want to see.
Campaigning for Safe Standing
We’re also pushing for the introduction of safe standing areas at the London Stadium. Safe standing would complement the singing section, providing a natural space for vocal fans and addressing safety and tension issues related to persistent standing.
